Petbuddy Group appoints new CEO

Paul van der Raad to lead PBG forward as the new CEO.

Swedish Petbuddy Group AB (PBG) announces the appointment of Paul van der Raad as its new CEO from January 2025. He previously worked for the Dutch company Protix as Global Director for the pet sector. “Paul van der Raad brings almost 30 years of experience in the pet industry and will lead PBG's next phase of growth, focusing on product innovation, sustainability and reach,” the company's press release states.

Newton Aguiar, chairman of PBG, expressed his confidence: “Paul's experience in the industry positions him well to lead PBG into a future focused on quality, sustainability and growth.” PBG's brands include Buddy, Thrive and Little Big Paw.
