Vitakraft is adding its support for refugees from Ukraine and their pets. The company has joined forces with the "Rail Bridge" aid project of Deutsche Bahn. This is working to convey entire lorry shipments of aid from Germany directly to Ukraine via a logistics network utilising the Polish and Ukrainian railways.
An initial Vitakraft donation of 26 pallets of dog and cat food was already dispatched to Ukraine last week. In addition, large quantities of bird food are being taken to Ukraine in collaboration with regional aid organisations.
