Hans Ulrich Siber, former marketing director and member of the general directorate of the Migros cooperative association, is the new chairman of the administrative board of Swiss pet supplies retailer Meiko Heimtierbedarf. Entrepreneur Pierre-Alain Mathier has joined the board as a new member, while Philip Frei, who has run the company for 17 years, is staying on as co-founder, administrative board member and managing director.
Based in Villmergen, Meiko Heimtierbedarf operates eleven stores in Switzerland. Its annual turnover is reported to be CHF 20 mio (approx. 18.6 mio euros).
