Ferplast has acquired the Italian manufacturer Hydor. Founded by Mr Bresolin in 1984, Hydor is specialized in the design and production of filters, pumps and heaters.
With this acquisition, Ferplast wants to push ahead with its own expansion and, in particular, significantly expand its aquaristics range. Ferplast itself already started in 2004 with its own aquaristic assortment.
"Hydor Srl in Bassano del Grappa and Hydor USA Inc. in Sacramento have been acquired by Ferplast with the intention of keeping the brand alive and relaunching its production and distribution with even greater strength", the company further announces. The jobs at Hydor will therefore be retained.
