Katharina Engling is the new chairperson of the Interzoo advisory board. She succeeds Hans-Jochen Büngener, who is stepping down after 31 years in the role. Engling has already been working with the advisory board for some time. Her new appointment was made by the executive board of the Zentralverband Zoologischer Fachbetriebe (German Pet Trade and Industry Association, ZZF).
Katharina Engling is an authorised signatory for Bunny Tierernährung. She is responsible for marketing and for research and development, and has been working in the sector since 1994.
The other members of the advisory board are Roland Böhme (JBL), Annette Burda (Burda's Tierwelt), Stephan Fumy (Zoofachhandel Fumy), Lars Larsen (Juwel Aquarium), Jörg Lefers (Allco Heimtierbedarf), Axel Pinders (Dohse Aquaristik) and Nadine Trautwein (Hunter International).
